AHEM !

The best song in context with the subject of this thread...in our own dialect URDU, is a chorus in fact...from the movie LORI....which has some words like these;

"AAJ ALLAH JI NE YE DIN DEKHAYA RE...BAHU RANI KE LALL NA AYA RE"

I am sure that this song will be available at audio shops....

Regarding BABY SHOWER....the concept is of VICTORIAN era...and perhaps it was from there that the last days of British-India....the thought of GOUDH BHARAIEE took place.

The basic reason behind such celebration is to pray and extend good wishes to would-be mom....that may her child be healthy and may the child always remain away from the evil...

As simple as that....!! :)
