^ High above? Throne? His Majesty? It sounds like you are describing a physical being in a physical place. Does he also have a long flowing beard and wear robes and a crown?
Of course one can feel the presence of God. I personally believe He is anywhere and everywhere. He is inside of you. He is around you. He encompasses and is a part of everything. He is not in a palace somewhere stroking his beard watching down on his dominion. He isn’t even a “He”. That implies God is a person. Our minds can’t grasp what God is, but surely He isn’t sitting around on a chair. Or even a throne.
