Your entire assertion rests on first believing the Quran to be true. You’re making my point. You have to accept the deity, first! I will accept the Quran to be true, if you can show it to be true. You cannot use the Quran to validate itself. If that’s the metric, then every religious book is true…back to square one!

This is true … If you want to analyse a religion you as an outsider should read their scripture. The problem is the Qur’an is avoided … Now you say that you have to accept Deity first … Well you must accept the possibility of there being a Deity first … That much is true, but you can always read the Qur’an and subject it honestly to internal and external consistency checks … You don’t have to be a believer to do that. There are many aspects of the Qur’an that you cannot verify but there are many aspects that you can verify … But the challenge is there are NO aspects that you can show to be false or inconsistent, nor can you bring something like it … So I’m actually asking you to verify the veritable parts not using itself, but by using external means, such as hadith, history, non-Muslim accounts, science, logic and common sense.
