You cannot assume something is evidence of something else, when the something else hasn’t even been established as existing.

It’s good that you have agreed that we are evidence of something … To answer your question why we “assume” we are evidence of God … First of all you have selectively responded to my post … I didn’t say we “assume” we are evidence of God … I said, “the conclusion should be reached by a process of elimination” … this infers an exact process by placing potential candidates as our “cause” and then ruling them out …
