where can one find really tasty shawarma in T.O? there is this place, a lebanese restaurant near christie subway station i believe:confused: that sells really delicious shawarma…i have eaten at a few other places but they r really blah..they add too much pickle in it, makes it all khatta khatta and yucky tasting…and the others had totally blank meat in the shawarma…it tasted like nothing…i knew i was eating something but couldn’t taste nething, no salt, no pepper, no chilli, nothing really:snooty: !

There is a lebanese shop, on the intersection of Lawrence & Pharmacy
beside the Patna kabab house - they have very decent shawarma
You can also try Yonge and Bloor , there is a arab restaurant there. The shawarma is a bit spicier and very good. Its just across the street from the subway enterance

El Sabil (Lawrence and Midland) - Best tasting (chicken) shawarmas I've had so far.
LaZeez (Gould St. & Gerrard St. East) - Certainly next in line after El Sabil. I've been going there for 3 days straight now.
I hope I'm not too late in assisting you with your quest for shawarmas.

Caution: look out for Arabian shops claiming to be halal yet at the same time selling souvlaki.. to many Arabs the meaning of Halal is simply "chicken"

Lazeez is by far the shawarna i've ever tasted in Canada...but its nothing like the ones I had in Saudi Arabia and Dubai.

The best I have tasted was at the 'Medina' restaraunt in 'Square One' Mississauga.

Just thought I had add that there's a another good shawarma place close to Eglinton and Dixie if anyones interested. We also have 'paramount' here, so I'm guessing they have stores around the world

exactly, there's one shop in the heart of downtown it sells good shawerma.. but the ones i had in dubai were no match

The best shwarma I have ever had was in Windsor, ON. Right after you come out of tunnel in downtown, make a left and then another left, there are couple of shos there. Best and Yummiest!!!

The best I've had is at Sarah's Falafel on Bloor St W ... it's also got very good ratings!
