Muslims are proud to be indians and they prefer india over pakistan, even though many of them have relatives in pakistan and if they want to move they are rich enough to move. I have muslim female friends in india who have been to pakistan quite a few times. They would never go to pakistan. In the metro cities in india, women have equal rights, that is not the case for their cousins in pakistan. Moderate muslims prefer india over pakistan. Radical muslims, luckily there arent many in india, living in the 17th century in india prefer pakistan over india and it isnt surprising why..........
I am a muslim and a proud indian. Those muslims who create problems in india deserve what they are getting. India is the only truely secular country in the world.
Iconoclast, I am taking excerpts from your own web links to expose your sincierity.
Nohere it is written that the Dargah was 300 years old. It says that it is believed to be 300 years old. Myths that people like you have successfully and systematically created many times.
**The dargah is believed to be a 300-year-old mazaar of Chisti Rashid-ud-din. **
And in your other links it is clearly mentioned that some older Hindu temples were also removed and there was no protest from Hindus. What is wrong with your peaceful community that it always prefers to start talking with stones and sticks?

**An overwhelming number of our surfers feel that the demolition was justified. Their justification: if a temple or a church can be demolished if illegal, then why not a mosque?
Ghanshyam from Ranchi said, “The demolition is justified. Everybody has to abide by the law. Why don’t these people cry on similar incidents in other Muslim countries like Turkey and the UAE?”
Anil from New Delhi is surprised that nobody had brought up the topic when temples were pulled down.
“If the 20 temples can be demolished then why not a dargah? It may have been 300 years old. But how does that matter? Surprisingly, nobody talks about temples and if someone does, he is tagged a communal.”**

Hundreds of Muslims congregated at the mazaar on monday and started pelting stones. The police immediately declared curfew in the old city areas. Tension escalated as riots broke out between the mob and the police. Soon, the battles turned into a communal skirmish. Initially, the police used lathicharges to disperse the mob. But as things spun out of control, the police lobbed teargas shells and fired at the mob. The riots soon spread to old city areas such as Fatehpura, Hathikhana, Ajwa Road, Macchi Pith and Nyay Mandir.

After millions of Hindu's re-elect a Muslim-hater like Modi, and so many on this board defend him it is amusing to see India's lecture anyone on tolerance.
anjann....next time read the context of the post, i was only stating different sources that say the structure is 300 years old and not whether they think it was justified or not.
and had the partition carried out fairly to include muslim populated areas to Pakistan, we wouldnt have this problem now cause then very less muslims has to migrate.
