This socialist is voting conservative in the next election. I have been converted. Sure, his stance on Middle East has pissed off plenty, his concern for the environment is pretty nonexistent, he has oil industry ties, he is religious, has made asinine comments like “the terrorists want to attach us because they don’t like our Canadian values” and that the UN shouldn’t have been in the way when Israel bombed it, he couldn’t get out Canadians from Lebanon quickly, and most frighteningly of all, Bush likes him. But he’s principled and a good speaker, is not kissing ass to get votes, and with his leadership Canada won’t be sitting on the sidelines any longer. I like him. Plus he is from my town. And why would anyone vote for the weak Liberal candidates? None of them are impressive.
Go “Steve”. I am looking forward to a majority government and a changing Canada. I just hope he listens to Canadians more in the future instead of brushing aside polls.
Yeah, that’s all that’s needed is to be a good speaker, who cares if he hates your people, wanted Israel to destroy Lebanon and is allies with Bush. But I guess Muslims aren’t really “your” people are they? :k:

Stephen Harper’s and the Conservatives are pretty much doomed for now. Arrogant stance in favor of naked Israeli aggression won't earn the Conservatives any sympathies in Canada. Also, the rising death toll of Canadian soldiers will have its consequences as it's beginning to resemble more and more like the awry American campaign in Iraq...
