GO Mush.
Even if we assume that Mush did some good things for the country, and the overall influence was positive, he has been around for 8 years which is a long enough. He doesn't have the political or moral license to stay prez for life, or become king ,or become a Pakistani Hosni mubarak. So even if he wasn't as bad as could have been its still time for him to go.
Just to be nice to him, forgetting that his reign is illegitimate to begin with, if he has become such a wise indispensable person, let him sit in the senate or something.

Yep, and that is why we have seen very little in the way of demonstrations against Musharraf because of the Emergency. It just shows people are not prepared to come out in the streets to support the failed opposition leaders, who have looted and disgraced Pakistan previously.

You have done some good things in early years. But in last 3 years, you have been disastrous, really. Please leave the kursi, Pakistan does not need your service anymore. Under your regime, the corruption is growing every day and Pakistan will not have new leadership grow. So the (F class) Chaudhris, MMA and MQM may continue their run (which we know will never gain support from masses). Under Mush Millitary has seen the worst days, as a dictator he is leaving his past gurus way behind.

SO its been a couple of weeks now. The situation in the northwest is desperate. Rebels control whole districts. Armed militants have kidnapped our soldiers. We declared emergency to save the country. We sent home the highest, most senior judges in the land. We shut down TV stations so we could catch the terrorists without fear of the media clouding the issues.
and the first and so far only terrorism case in over two weeks is against Imran Khan ?
