is it playing up for anyone else? i can sign in, but can’t read my emails, go to sent messages, compose email etc.
I have 6 juicy looking emails staring at me, but I’m not able to read them. The techies have baically thanked me for my bug report, but cant help me.
So annoyed. So impatient. So need your help.

Sobo, you can use any email client. Like Outlook Express (already on all Windows systems) or MS Office Outlook.
any of the 2 will do.
Then setup Gmail POP3 in any of those.
But first you need to enable POP3 option by going into your Gmail account and in the settings area, you'll find a POP3 option. There you need to turn on the POP3
It is the POP3 part you have look at, and set the 3 options, after that you'll see a link on how to setup Oulook (Express) to read your email.
(once done) you will receive all your email on your destkop.
PS: its not slow for me. try deleting the browser cache and then try again.

May be they just don't like your username or something. Post a screenshot of what GMail screen you are looking at.

'settings' is not a button. It just a link at top right of the page.

Gizzy, that's the same link I'm rtalking about. 'sign iut' and 'help' work fine, but settings diesnt wiork. Cant open any of my emails, or the links on the left side of the screen.
Faisal, the screen appears to be completely normal - there's nothing mising (I'm too lazt to take/edit screenshot :p)

Download and install a different browser (e.g. Firefox) and see if that resolves the problem.
