hi everyone, i hope this is the right forum to post this in..
i just saw an email on my gmail account, its been sent from my ID and its in my sent messages folder as well so i know its been sent from my id,
it just says in the subject “amir hacks ur account”
and in the email it says “hey..see i hack ur id..but dont panic nothing wrongs done with ur id..see i have send u a mail through ur id itself..”
Change ur password to a complex one, change all your personal info most importantly secret questions.
and DONT use Gmail from any public or shared computers.
Also make sure the hacker hasn’t added his own email as an alternate email in your Gmail account
Nothing like this will help “if” the computer doesnt have a nice antivirus and is infected with a keylogger.
Further more better NOT to login to your email from another’s PC specially from an Internet cafe, because “mostly” people forget to logout and such things may happen.
If you feel yourself that you are using a good protected operating system then comes in the question about the password. It should be strong. (Capital/Small Alphabets, Numbers, Characters etc)
Now its not clear if you have installed an antivirus and if it is updated and running. If you have got strong password. If you logged in to your account from another computer.
Eliana you didn’t answer whether you have anti-virus software installed or not, which aaho asked…please make sure and if you do have it hopefully it checks for spyware too, make sure you do a scan on scheduled times.
hopefully it’s your own personal computer you’re using and not a public one, if it is a public computer make sure you take precautions like uncheck the “Remember me on this computer” box and hopefully you remember to log out before you leave…
Its been ages that i have written any blog and this topic is so hot for next blog entry. All i need some time to build a java app to support my app .. .. .. it will definitely help you guys to make secure passwords and you guys would not need to remember 'em .. .. give me sometime
well that’s why i quoted your post cuz the thread starter didn’t answer whether she had antivirus software installed
and whether she’s scanned her personal computer for spyware as well
she just disappeared
and i added stuff that u forgot to mention
Yeah right. that’s y u changed my things…? I hv searched many webs and in many things they hv written like this,
tell me truly if really someone can help me in hacking a yahoo account. or make my access to read its mail.
