Yesterday i mixed glycerin with equal amount of olive oil. I massaged my hair and scalp with it and my face with the remaining, and i am loving the result on both my hair and face.

My face has been getting extremely dry and flaky due to sudden weather change since i arrived from pakistan last week. i;ve been trying creams and stuff but nothing worked, but this moisturized my skin in only one apply, and i;m also loving my hair. I am so happy with the result.

Use a bit of water with it -- the glycerin will really go into your skin better.

I remember a homemade toner that was supposed to be really good–lemon juice, glycerin and rosewater. I think ill try that again soon

I tried it again last night with a little water added to it. It works wonders, i'm just loving it :)

^ Yes, First time i mixed glycerin with equal amount of olive oil and massaged my scalp and hair with it, second time i mixed a little bit of water to it too. it's good for both hair and skin, i massage my face with it too. Glycerin is the best moisturizer for skin.

i don;t know if it thickens the hair but it did make my dry rough hair smooth in two applys.
