Glucophage is not a fertility drug per say (it does not
work directly to help one ovulate or conceive). It is however often used as an adjunct to improve overall reproductive heath (thus fertility) by increasing insulin sensitivity and promoting weight loss in women who suffer from PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).
It is but one (initial) step in addressing fertility issues.
sorry cant help you with 2nd part of your question, but there have been several threads in the past on this forum that have discussed reputable gynecologists in lhr.
