Glowing skin tips

This summer having beautiful, healthy glowing skin is one of the hottest beauty trends out there. Of course, having great skin is something that we all want all to have all year round and so here are some tips on how to get it.

Be sure to remove your makeup every night before you go to bed, so your skin can breathe.

Be sure to wash your face with a gentle cleanser every morning.

Apply SPF to your skin every single day. Even if it’s raining outside you should do this because your skin will need the extra protection.

Apply moisturizer that is made for your skin type over your SPF. The moisturizer should be thicker during the winter so that it helps to protect your skin from the cold and lighter during the summer so that it doesn’t feel heavy.

Don’t pick your pimples! You may want to. After all, the pimples are just sitting there staring at you, but picking them will only make them worse and you can damage your skin by picking them.

Gently exfoliate you skin every week in order to remove any dead skin cells. This will leave your looking and feeling smooth and fresh.

When applying makeup, try to use disposable face sponges and brushes or clean makeup brushes. Dirty brushes have a lot of bacteria and can cause skin irritation. If you don’t want to use disposable appliers, then be sure to clean your brushes at least once a week.

If you need a little bit of an extra glow, you can apply some bronzer to your skin.

Once a week, apply a face mask to your face and neck that is meant to make your skin smoother.

Before you go to bed, clean your face with a cleanser and then with toner. The reason that you’re washing your face twice during the day is because you’ve been out and about all day and your skin has attracted lot of dirt. The toner simply removes any excess dirt which wasn’t removed by the cleanser.

Getting enough sleep is vital to having beautiful skin because your body rests and the stress rolls off. When your body is happy, it shows!

Be sure to follow a healthy diet. While we may all want to eat fried or processed foods from time to time, it’s important to have a healthy diet filled with vegetables, fruits, fish and poultry. The vitamins and minerals that are found in these foods will do wonders for your skin and health in general

Drink eight glasses of water every day. If you have a few extra pounds on you then you should drink more because your body needs water to keep hydrated. Water flushes out toxins from your body and carries essential nutrients to your organs- including your skin.

Okay so a stupid question but I want an answer...8 glasses of water means how many liters? Or how much water (in liters) should one drink per day?

It is better to take at least five liters of water a day to avoid any illness.

Advantages from five liters of water:

  1. Free motion.
  2. Hypertension will decrease. Hypertension is the result of salt not being purged out from the body. If more water is taken, it absorbs salt and sends it out through urine.
  3. Chronic headaches will decrease.
  4. The density of blood will come down. The salt we take along with vegetables increases the density of blood. The water we take will reduce the density and blood flow to brain is smooth. With this headache will reduce.
  5. Pains and swellings in joints will diminish. If there is more salt in our body, there will be a swelling of face, feet and hands. With the water we take, salt will go out and these swellings are controlled.
  6. Drinking more water helps kidneys work efficiently. The stones formed in the kidneys will be purged out along with water.
  7. When you are down with fever, temperature can be controlled with consumption of more water. Animals suffering from fever never eat grass. Instead they drink water.
  8. Stomach pain, if any, disappears when waste material is purged out if we consume more water.
  9. Urine will be clear. We become prone to urine infections if we do not take more water. Then you will find urine yellowish. This is an indication for low level of water in the body.
  10. Water cleanses the liver. When we suffer from jaundice, it is advantageous to take more water.

yeah try to start from 8 glasses and then increase the intake day by day .. i know its hard ..

**5 liters is pushing things a lil too far , in fact the amount of water you need is related to how much you weigh

A rough guide would be to calculate your water intake as such :

To calculate your recommended water intake per day, you should consider the general rule of halving your current weight and using that number as a guideline for how many ounces of water you need per day.

For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, divide that by 2 to give you 75 -- so you should aim to consume 75 ounces of water a day.

To make this calculation more tangible, take that number and divide it by 8 (because there are 8 ounces in a cup). So 75 divided by 8 equals 9.5, so you should aim for drinking 9.5-10 cups of water per day.

Bear in mind this is a rough calculation since other factors like diet , exercise , weather and physical health also play a role **

Five liters is a bit too much for me...but thanks for the information...really helpful.

Good information...i'll try to drink 10 glasses or at least 2 liters of water per day...

I think 8 glasses = about 2 liters.
