~ Glowing Brides ~

Where were you when I was getting married?? Aah, I wish I used your awesome techniques. I would have looked awesome. Khair, so huwa, huwa. I looked okay.

Wow.. This thread is awesome!

I just had a few questions...

I recently lost some weight and now I have these stretch marks on my arms, thighs and some around my tummy. How do I get rid of those?

Another thing, my acne has calmed down from before but I still have scars and I still get a few pimples here and there. I know red sandalwood powder, wild turmeric and honey was mentioned but then I also read, red sandalwood powder, wild turmeric and lemon juice, which one works better? Or does it not matter?

Last thing, I wanted to know was apart from skin is hair. My hair is pretty thin but it's healthy. However, I want it to be thicker and more fuller. I've tried all these oils and what not but it hasn't made a difference. Any other suggestions?

Use Nioxin shampoo for a while. Dunt use the conditioner from the same brand. It might dry your hair out. Some thinkening conditioner like Rusk. Also do apply oils or eggs, or both on regular basis. I dunt see any reason your hair wont look fuller after that. By the way I have tried that and suggesting you all this thru my own personal experience.

Hmm... Interesting. Okay, I will give that a try and hopefully it will work! Thank youu!!! =-)

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

^ i 2nd that (nioxin is the best ) :)

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about the stretch marks but for acne scars try using pure organic rosehip oil.

I have these scars on my legs. Got them from epilating n itching. I hav very dry skin in winter n i scratch it to the point of bleeding :( . How can i get rid of these scars

*GINA- you said that *

"For a dark area around the mouth I reccomend equal proportions of orange juice, lemon juice and haldi."

What porpotions should I use, how to apply it, and for how long. THANKS!!!

Also, so you know any good home remedies for REALLY DRY skin?!!!

If u're going to use 1/2 tsp of turmeric, use the same amount of orange juice and lemon juice. Dab it on with cotton-wool and wash it off after 20 mins.

Is the dry skin flaky or dark and patchy? Have you tried moisturizers such as Aveeno, Eucerin and Vaseline?

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

ok gina..few qs
my wedding is gettn nearer and nearer and now im sweating!had pretty gud skin, started breaking out alll of a sudden, but now im taking antibiotics n its all settled..but i have the scars, which r nasty to look at.wat shall i do??i am using my GPs BO but dnt think its helping much.
cant find sandalwood powder here..tried a lot
so wat shall i do??
an dhow often shud i use the ubtan..just got 1 pack from pak..but not sure wat to do with it,how to use it and how often..

If you were prescribed antibiotics, were you also prescribed Retin A or HQ? Home-remedies are effective, but take a while to work.

Ubtan should be mixed with either olive oil or almond oil and scrubbed-off. You can apply ubtan 3-4 times a week.

Gina please help me with the regimen for laugh lines. It's becoming worst day by day.

Thanks in advance.

Beaten egg-white..leave it on untill it's dry and then wash-off. Follow-up with a vitamin E or almond oil facial massage.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Thanks a lot Gina !!!

How often do i have to apply this ?
Is Vitamin E oil the one which comes in capsule or can i massage with olive oil?

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~
