~ Glowing Brides ~

Cinnamon is a spice in urdu it's called "daalchini" and u can use ubtan everyday.. it wont make u're skin rough.

skausar the tube is prolly the cream made with ubtan. Ubtan is a powder and i've given a recipe for it here.. u can make it at home too.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Is the tube not good enough? Making it seems tricky

Also you didnt respond re uneveness on thighs and behind

I know i have asked so many questions im sorry xx

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

^ yh i was also wanderin if the ubtan u get in the tubes is gd enough cos ive got one lying around in my cupboard but neva used it

Not really, the tube contains plenty of chemicals while the powdered form has none and once it dries-off is a great exfoliant too. skausar what caused the uneven skincolor on u're thighs.. please be specific.

ok thanks :)

I'm not sure to be honest the area is just slightly uneven i think it was caused by the cellulite - which came as a result of weight gain i guess. Btw i am not overweight just a litlle curvy around the hips - i used to be very skinny before while i was studying all the stress meant i found little time to eat. Since completing my studies and starting work i have put weight on.

Then u shud stick to olive oil and vitamin E oil for the time being..

i think you will be fine with bio oil. since you are using it already you know that it's a special formulation of oils for scars/stretch marks/uneven skin tone. but make sure you apply it twice a day.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Is wild tumeric the same thing as haldi, like the one we cook with? Like can you just take a spoonful from your spice rack :) or is it something different

Wild turmeric is slightly different.. but if u can't find it, use regular haldi.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Gina as i am finding it dificult to trace the powder form of Ubtan should i use the tube?

ubton selfmade?

kia ubton khud bana sakte hain at home??
if yes howww ??

Re: ubton selfmade?

Take 2 tbsp of besan, add 1/2 tsp haldi to the mix and stir in yogurt until u get a thick consistency. Ive been using this 'UBTAN' for abt 10 yrs now, my moms whole family uses it.. apply it to ur arms, legs or wherever, leave on til 3/4 dry and dabbing ur fingers in mustard oil, start rubbing it off. DO NOT WASH the area applied to until you completely remove all the paste from it.. as it wont really do anything. Apply for a few days! Results are amazing!! atleast from what ive seen

Re: ubton selfmade?

u can add milk/yogurt/olive oil (for dry skin) or rose water for oily skin, honey (better for hands, armsetc), ground almonds, lil turmeric powder etc.

i saw my friend mixing Chambeli oil in ubton & than use it, she used it for abt 10-15days before her wedding & God.. herbody was so fragrant with all the chambeli flower buds fragrance. love it & is surely going to try it soon.........just can't wait to be in PK :D

Re: ubton selfmade?

Mysticalrain

that sounds like a very easy recipe, but I am wondering is it basan that helps stick the yogurt? Or does it drip off at times?

Also how long do you normally have to keep it on?

I've given a basic recipe in the thread "glowing brides" browse thru it! (and directions as well)

Re: ubton selfmade?

no it doesnot drip off, i also mix yogurt with alittle milk n make its thick paste, just besan quantity has to be more than the yogurt, just add yogurt gradually to besan to form a thick paste.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Gina, once you suggested a miixture of Turmeric powder, Sandalwood powder and milk for acne scars.... i have found sandalwood powder and it is totally red... is it how it is supposed to be?... also they say it is used in tandoori masalas or as food color.. is it the right product??
Waiting for your reply, thanx in advance
