~ Glowing Brides ~

Use a primer smughul.. or pre-powdered blotting paper ( this can only be used after u've done u're makeup and when the oil begins to appear)

A matte cream can also be used or a matte balm.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

thanks Gina.. do parlours in khi take care of this? will they use such stuff so that oil doesn't appear fast?

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

i called depilex today.. they said "Tani jo hain woh khi mai makeup nai karteen.. woh eik dafa ate hain saal mai.. Nighat misbah karte hian makeup.. jo tani ke sister hian "..

have u seen nighat's makeup? or anyone else in depilex?

No parlours won't take care of it =) You shud prolly go and check-out their portfolio's and pictures and decide smughul... what I like, you may not like.

hey gina --- i have to go to a wedding next month and its my best friends wedding so i wanna look pretty much decent now my arms are realli dark bc i drive and the sun attacks my arms- i use spf 50 sunblock everyday that doesnt work- i tried the fair and lovely cream = that didnt work- i try the besan with lemon juice and milk that doesnt work - ive been doing htis for the past 2 months now- and my arms are still the same color- its different than my face- ant it looks rediculous if i wear a short sleeve outfit for the wedding- can u pleaseee tell me another thing to use for my arms thank u

Sali, use a higher spf.. drop fair & lovely it doesn't work! Use a spf 80-100.. for the tanned arms try tomato juice and equal quantity of lemon juice mix it with besan to form a paste and leave it on for half an hour. You'd have to do it regularly to see results.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

i used the haldi thing once and turned my whole face yellow :( !!

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

i used too much haldi i suppose ... but i have heard that brides shouldnt use ubtan on thier face and hands ... it just makes them more dry ... especially if u have dry skin!!

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

pakifairy, have you tried getting chemical peels for the scars you are talking about? i had similiar scars and peels were amazing, they made my skin really smooth.

Aashi the turmeric will stain u're face temp just wash it off with u're regular facewash! And ubtan is meant for the entire body including the face, if u're skin is dry mix in sum olive oil. The ubtan my dadi makes has milk powder in it and that doesn't leave u're skin dry at all.

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

hiya gina
im new here and hardly posted but seeing how much info ur providing people and helping them i couldnt resist, please could you tel me a good home remedy for dry skin.i also have excezma so cant use something too harsh.Have tried several oils in the past but theyv not helped much!

Sahar2008 don't feel bad about your skin colour...if you are beautiful on the inside it'll reflect on the outside too and sooner or later...our MIL will see it.

As far as beautifying yourself for you husband goes...I think every woman should try to do that simply because men are attarcted to beauty...that's how Allah made them.

Inshallah everything will work out for you!

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

hello gina can u tell me some ready made good cream for fair color cuz i have very dark complexion plz plz tell me and my nail are very soft and breaks very fast, grows realy slow i m geting married in oct and wanted to have good skin color nails n hairs :)

Pale treated skin is not beautiful. Skin that is healthy glows. Don't change your skin tone trying to achieve some narrow-minded view of beauty. Just take care of your skin. Your husband must be attracted to your natural tone. Perhaps it's best to talk to him?

Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~

Preganent women always have natural glow ... somefin to ponder about :p
