Glossy Hair - products

What do you use to make your hair look glossy?

Someone recommended Osis magic gloss by Schwarzkopf so may try that, anyone else used this? Is it any good?

Re: Glossy Hair - products

Tigi After Party is really good. I haven't used it for some time but I really want to buy it again.

Re: Glossy Hair - products

^ second that one. Although I only used it once or twice, I hate the feel of product in my hair.

Re: Glossy Hair - products

ANyone know of a good finishing spray or serum or something to make your hair shiny but not greasy/oily after straightening?

Re: Glossy Hair - products

Moroccan oil makes my hair the shiniest.. but not sure it's worth the cost..

Re: Glossy Hair - products

I bought this and gave it to my sister coz she straightens her hair. She really likes it but she says one spray is more than enough. She does one on the lengths before straightening and then another for the top after it’s done (from as far above as possible) - she said it tames all the flyaways and makes it look smooth.

Re: Glossy Hair - products

when i was young and single i used to spend all my monies on hair and makeup stuff. i think i had half the tigi range on my dressing table... mostly for the pretty colours and nice smells.

Re: Glossy Hair - products

My favourite product which they've discontinued is Wella's Liquid Hair Shine. I bought 2 litres of it years ago and it's lasted me forever. Now that it's almost done I'm looking for a replacement. Trying to ebay it - people are charging between $25-40 for 6 oz :(

Re: Glossy Hair - products

Dude, me too! Not make ups, only hair care. My shampoo used to cost me £14!

The only reason I went to America was to get it cheaper. I stocked up but when it ran out I realised I need to stop loving my hair and start loving me feet.

Re: Glossy Hair - products

My shampoo still costs that much. So no after parties for me, just the everyday stuffs :(

Re: Glossy Hair - products

Gosh! I would never spend £14 on shampoo now, I cannit believe I used to. Although Aveda did used to give me free stuff on me birthday.

After parties are for floozys anyway. You needs to be sensibles now.

Re: Glossy Hair - products

Redken's hair shine spray! I got it a long time ago in my Birchbox and I've been in love. I've bought 2 bottles ever since because I use it all the time, gives my hair an amazing healthy shine/not greasy and just leaves hair looking perfect and healthy.

Re: Glossy Hair - products

I have been using Aveda Brilliant Spray on Shine for the past 6 months now and I absolutely love it. It really gives that glossy effect to hair, just like you see in magazines. And I have tried countless hair serums/products from Kerastase to Pantene, and this one wins hand down for me. :)

Re: Glossy Hair - products

Oh, I have that! How do you use it, apply it after straightening? And @stoppit, I use that spray as my heat protectant, I'll try spraying it after too, thanks!

Re: Glossy Hair - products

Just spray your hair with it afterwards. I use that spray after anything I do with my hair, curling/blow-drying/straightening/ponytail. Sometimes I just spray my hair with even if I don't do anything with my hair at all. And it smells fresh. :D
