So whats the status of Kyoto Protocol? Last I heard, and this may be wrong, was that US had said that they don't want to be constrained by emission levels, and US should be allowed to pollute more as long as US can pay for it in hard cash. Any truth in that?

Jet A to the 16,000 mile r/t – the fuel cost alone passes $131,000.00.
There are 6.7 pounds per gallon of jet fuel. Total pounds of fuel burned on
Gore’s Global Warming Express – 439,500.

The response to Kyoto is that it costs too much and is based on a "theory" which according to the Bush administration is based on fiction, just like the theory of evolution and natural selection.
More like the WMD, it will bite them in the ass when it is too late and then we will blame all the gays for the curse of Allah on our beloved nation.

aww...ahmadjee, can you prove with any solid numbers that global warming is causing all of these storms/hurricanes? Every greenheaded theory you will come up with, rest assured I will be able to supply a counter theory to disprove it.
If the dems/naderites are so concerned about the environment, first thing they should do is start living in the tents(that will save the trees), not use any products that contribute to global warming (gasoline, any manufactured product, etc, etc).... soon enough they will realize their foolish ways and ask to be let back into the civilized society again.
