Well, I'm no scientist and will take any scientific consensus over my opinion on the matter but one thing is common sense though. If temperature rises so will hot air. And lots of hot air will do lots of bad things.
Now, there could be multiple sources of rise in temp. One is global warming, sure. But wasn't there some kinda theory that sun is nearing earth on yearly basis? Like few inches and one day it'd be at a spear's length to earth? Imagine the hot air at spear's length.
But as far as global warming is concerned, I think we should make love not hot air.
