TOIlet news is right for the first time. India is the same country with 500 million poor, more poor and starving people then all of Africa.
Pakistan on the other hand has only 15-18% poverty.

so you guys are enjoying the fact that people are suffering and dying of starvation in india and somehow just b/c pakistan has less people dying of starvation, it's a time to celebrate. oye those starving people are human after all regardless of their nationality.
the politicians are a holes, they're selfish self centered slime......the first comment below the article is reality and just shows how satanic the officials are in india. i don't live in india so i have no right to complain about how slimy the politicians there are. i wouldn't be able to live a life luxury if right next to my building there are people dying of starvation. way too big of a gap between the rich and poor in india

On the positive side, the report shows that India has taken steps to reduce hunger in the the last 20 years as can be seen by the lower GHI index for 2010 compared to 1990.

i'm not an indian citizen and i apologize for putting all indian politicians in one group of corrupt. just got a bit angry in that post, since i don't live in india i don't have a right to criticize them, i do my part by donating to indian NGOs though
