If you rack up 4 million miles and meet other criteria, you belong to this club wrt United Airlines. Your flights are tracked. And if your flight is late, there is a person waiting to whisk (spelling? ) you away to your next flight. You miss a flight. Another person is bumped off to accommodate you.
Now comes the carbon footprint issue. A Mercedes is set aside to take you from one terminal to another in Airports such as O’Hare. If your shirt is stained they send a person to the downtown mall to get a fresh shirt. Would you want them to waste so much fuel just for a bit of your convenience?

Just because one can afford to, doesn’t meaan one should waste. The amount of travel has increased in spite of video conferences etc. Hotels in America waste so much. You keep the towels on the handlem to indicate you will reuse. They take it away anyway. No recycling provisions.room set very cold in summer when you check in. Follow Europe and Japan lead.
