Would you use the crystal brandy/wine glasses for formal dinners and serve soft drinks and water in them , instead of wine? 
I personally believe , a beautiful glass is a piece of art and shouldnt just be confined to serving a certain drink …
What do you guys think? or is it just a desi thing that we will get beautiful looking wine glasses /flutes etc and serve water in them dinner time ?

Water, juice and mocktails only in stemware. I don't like the look of colas or sodas in wineglasses or fluted glasses - soda should be served in highball/lowball tumblers (in lieu of scotch or whisky).

Did you get a fatwa before using those glasses and tumblers ? You never know you might be committing a sin unknowingly.
