Do brides these days wear glasses? Looking through the 150+ pages of brides here..it seems like not a single one does.
Just a weird random thought that came to me…

Re: Glasses
My bhabi wore hers. After an hour of being on stage without them, she pulled them out and put them on!:D
Re: Glasses

Re: Glasses
Nope, haven't seen any bride with glasses. I don't think it looks nice
Re: Glasses
I've never seen a bride with glasses.. they usually go for contact lenses for the wedding.

Re: Glasses
lol, yeah when I was younger and contacts seemed the thing of the very far future, i used to wonder the same thing.... like" mom will I have to wear my glasses for my wedding?" lol
well now I am 17 and I wear glasses BUT just at home... i wear contacts everywhere else, school, going out, dinners etc
so I will opt for contacts or perhaps the surgery for the BIG day, lol
Re: Glasses
oh cool ur just like me... i wear glasses at home only from now on...
after persuasion from my friends here at gupshup and my own mom i managed to get lenses...
Re: Glasses
^I think it's all about being comfortable/happy with how you look. I have always seen his wife wear glasses, no matter how big the event is. She also dresses quite simple (and really bad but that's another issue).. she doesn't strike me as those flashy bollywood people. I kind of admire how she opts for simple stuff and wears glasses and no makeup, and looks quite comfortable with it too considering how her husband is such a hot shot person.. unlike other big stars' wives especially gauri khan who dips her face in desi ghee before making any public appearance.
Interesting q!! I have been wearing glasses since I was 10 (i'm 24 now) and i've never had contacts. I think maybe I will get a pair for my shaadi and that will be the big 'reveal'...even more shocking than lifting the dupatta i think! cuz none of my friends have ever seen me without glasses!
