Last night on Sony entertainment television, the Gladrags model competition was on. Did anybody watch it?

I was watching it with my parents and we saw it from the part where the men came out in their swimsuits and were … um … modelling. It was really shockingly funny but surprising cause maybe I’m not used to seeing desi men behave like this. My mother and father were more surprised that these men were actually getting themselves waxed from head to toe and even the show host managed to make fun of this. Anyway, it was interesting … some of the questions by the judges were borderline racy and it just surprised me that they were allowed to ask such questions … majority of the answers to the questions were just as stupid.

In a way, it was a beauty pageant just like all the rest of them, but for some reason, I just found this to be pushing it even further.

I guess my question is, is Sony shown in Pakistan? I can’t even imagine what the reaction would be like if this was aired in Pakistan.

haha.. it is … but then its not like ppl in pakistan dont know waht’s goin on around teh world… some may even put most goras to shame :wink:

i wathed it and i dont agree with the choice of winners.. both were ugly and dumb :grumpy:

i liked the mr gladrags from last yr.. :blush:

I don’t know, I’ve watched Miss Universe and Miss World pageants and none of them are as extreme as what was shown last night. The questions usually revolve around life ambitions, goals, education, etc. … not around sex as the questions last night.

Did you hear the answer to Anil Kapoor’s question? The question was, “what would you do if one of your friends has AIDS”. The answer, “if it’s my female friend, I’ll stop sleeping with her. If it’s a male friend, I’ll be there for him through thick and thin”.

Or the other question asked to one of the female contestants: “What makes a man good in bed?” … What nonsense!

i watched like 10 minutes of this nonsense, i saw the guys when they were just introducing themselves, what kinda idiotic introductions were those the only bright spot was when they showed a glimpse of mahima chaudhry
