~! Giving Tips ? Necessary/?

From an Islamic Economical point of view, should we give tips?

I mean its not about being cheap, but why give extra cash over what is flat rate ?

IS that goodwill? REcommended? Or shouldn’t be done?

What do you think?

Cuz...why don't they charge like for example, 15 dollar for milkshake, where 10 goes to milkshake product cost, and 5 for tips? Why do we have to feel like idiots when we don't Tip.

If you don't tip, and they remember you, they will spit or worse in your food.

So you're suggesting invest the tip money to buy dollar store mustaches and beards eh, interesting :D

It depends.

Some restaurants include the tip in the bill, then I don't tip. If they don't include the tip in the bill, I give tip because in most cases, waiters only make 4-5 dollars an hour, rest of the money comes from the tips. If they don't even care to pick up the used plates from the table or don't care to fill the glass when more soda is needed, then I don't tip because they didn't deserve it.

Now when it comes to the haircut, if they really spend their time trimming my hair, then I tip. If they just wanna get rid of me or trim the hair too short, I don't tip.
