Let’s assume you are visiting a famous part of a national park which is quite isolated from rest of the park by almost 100 Kilometers. The sun is about to set by the time you start your return journey on a long back country road. You are with your family but still have space in your car for 2 additional people. Suddenly you see a young woman walking on the side of the road and asking to hitch a ride. She appears to be a legit tourist and you are almost certain that you are driving one of the last few cars on that road for the day.
Will you give her a ride ? Why, or why not? Have you ever given a ride to any hitch hiker in any circumstances, or would consider doing so? If yes, what would the circumstances be ?
Compelled to say yes but I won't. I wouldn't risk it knowing them missus be sitting right next to my sorry ace. Drop dead gorgeous or not should have zero effects on me in the grand scheme of things. Some of us men truly appreciate and love the precious little peace time we get to have for ourselves, and no dumb move deserves to take that privilege off of us
^^^ Interesting. I said no purely due to safety concerns. I asked the same question on a group chat of the park and was surprised that so many people said that they would have given her a ride. Perhaps I've watched too many horror movies.
Appropriate for the pea that I be will be whether the wife chooses to go on with the ride, or perhaps initiates the stop herself. Not even trying to delve into the semantics of the incoming passenger being hot or not here. Legend has it the man ought to look awkward stopping over for a woman with his wife onboard, irrespective of the circumstances
