I’ve a male friend whose one of the friends got married recently.He wasn’t able to attend his wedding as the wedding was held in that guy’s home-country.Anyways!Now,his friend has invited him to come over and meet his wife.So he’s asked me whether he should be taking a gift/present with him for them,and what kind of gift/present should it be?What do you think?

So when he asked you this, did you tell him to wait because you need to ask people on GS what they think and then you'll get back to him with answers?

Gift card/money/something for his new house/flowers for the guy's wife and maybe a shirt,tie or cufflinks for his friend.

Gift card for a wedding? Damn you women are cheap. Look woman if he is a guy he has to divide up his gifts. He needs to take 2 at minimum. One for the wife and one for his mate. For the Mrs, shawls and stuff are a great hit. Make excellent official thank you gifts as well.
If wants to go over board, he 2 and hand them off to the Mrs. Secondly for the mate, get him what he wants or could use. Remember he si a guy even though he is married, so get him something for his hobbies.
Tell him to man up and don't the couple a mother ****ing blender.

Gift cards are not personal for for newly weds can be a welcome relief, especially if they are setting up home.

Just give them cash. A gift card you are forced to use in a specific store.
