Pardon my ignorance…but what is wrong with giving birth in Pakistan or the home country? Is it the cost? lack of facilities?

I think in this scenario it is because they want the baby to be a US citizen by birth.If the father still has the GC and the baby is born in Pakistan,the father will have to apply fort that child’s immigration alongwith the mother.
