Gives Wealth In Spite Of Love For It...

:salam2:

Yesterday, a person (don’t look like a beggar to me) came and asked me to help him (he asked for money). At first I refused him but the next moment I did helped him. Interestingly, earlier the same day I was reading Holy Chapter 2 till the verse 177 (quoted below) and was thinking that Almighty Allah says “those who gives wealth in spite of love for it to those who ask (for help)”, rather than giving our wealth our position become like judgemental type that why the person asking for help, why don’t he get some job and earn money rather than begging etc., etc. Anyhow when that person asked me for help, at first I hesitated. Suddenly when I remembered this verse, I gave him whatever I was able to give.

Now I’m bit confused that when at first I hesitated, why I hesitated and later on when I gave him, why I gave him? If I hesitated then is it because of of my free will (freedom of choice)? :konfused: :help: :jazak:
