my husband bday is coming up soon and i cant decide wot to give him

well you could go for the usual , colognes , shirts , rings

but how about a day out for both of you like a personalised day where it is just you and him get him a cake sing him happy birthday and have fun .
you can but ticktes to an acitivity day where you can choose up2 two activities , like go on a cruise , have lunch

Depends on his personality. Give him what he likes the most. It can be a book on his favourite personality,...etc. Just think of what was the thing that gave him the greatest happiness in the past.

well my hubby gave me gift on our engagement it was an ipod with islamic lectures by different famous scholars of US, like anwar awlaki etc.

As mentioned in another thread, for my hubbys bday, i booked an apartment for the weekend and arranged for private massages and wrap for the both of us. He loved the whole idea and getting away from the city etc etc...:)

I would always second getting away from it all...a change of scene always helps!!
I MAILED him cards to his work address for a whole month with cute little coupons that he could redeem. I had a suite for us at annapolis waterfront and played monopoly !!
Sparklinmg cedar and strawberries by the bed!!

I am insha'Allah going to prepare a special surprise gift for her other than the usual gifts, on my visit to Pakistan.

A plain mug, after liquid is poured in it, the hidden writing becomes visible.

Imagine, you give it to her. After few days she pours tea for herself and suddenly she sees the following written on it.

"I LOVE you dear "........."! May Allah unite our souls forever"
"STP" (ofcourse your name)

some ideas:
a plant which he can keep in his office
a pen inscribed with his name
a nice dinner that you can prepare for him or take him to at a fine restaurant
hopefully he is close to his parents and able to balance fairly.
it will be nice to have his parents' pictures framed with you two or kids if you have any (perhaps pictures which he does not remember)
emphasis is not on the material but the thoughts of yours for his happiness and care for him
go to a get away walking trail or lake for the whole day
almost slow the time to let him know that he is cared for.
reflect on the good times you have shared thus far
have fun

thanks for the good idea u gave me they are so sweet
i would go on some vacation with me and my husband on his bday but
due to family problem we cant go so tht is out of the question
well my husband like elctronic stuff but he have got everything he needs...

Such mugs are available here in Turkey. You apply for it online and by visiting the site and tell them what you want to be printed on it, but I think they only send it to people within Turkey. I would insha'Allah let you know if their service is abroad as well.One of my friend printed his photo along with with his gf photo on the mug.

I am sure there must be some place in your local city. Just google it along the name of your city. I am not sure what they call it in english
