No politician is perfect. But so far Imran has done more for Pak than others.
His charity work could be a trick to make us vote for him, but let's give him a chance, why not? Vote for Imran!
To the PPP - kick out Zardari and bring back the good people who have left the party since he took over.
Isn't Zardari resigned as party head and handed over Chairmanship to Bilawal? If this is true then let the people decide who they want to elect? IK and its parmenent lotay who are kicked out from PPP or PML(N) can not bring out any sizable change. When IK said he would shoot down the drones and get out from war on terror, better he should have blessings and approval of army's chief otherwise more serious accident can happen to him. More over I am very much concerned about his apologetic and sympathy for Taliban, these guys will come back to bite his butts if he does not form government according to their wishes. Pakistan does not need any more Mullahizm, let it should be remain secular and let the religion should be a personal individual matter, rather than forcing one form of religion to other faiths. Government and religions should be separated at any cost. Even change in constitution on this matter is very crucial for the future generations.
I too hope that PTI wins, but I don't think I can vote for any party that supports Taliban. As for PPP & Zardari, they failed to perform on economic front, and they deserve to sit out next term & let someone else try to fix the problems. Thats the beauty of democracy.

Your hesitation vis a vis Taliban is genuinely founded. Many in and out of Pakistan have the same concerns. But perhaps his solution to the problem may actually work. The previous Government tried carrot and stick both, and failed. Wouldn't it be fair to give this man a chance to try his methodology, if he fails he will be answerable to public come time to vote, perhaps even sooner. We all know how successful Pakistani public is at pulling out rallies when they are discontent with any matter, and on occasion have got Govt.'s attention in regards to policies that were reversed.
Yes his policies towards the extremists maybe a reason to feel nervous, but his solutions are very much in-tune with what is possible. I suppose public will decide to vote for whom they find the best among all running contenders. We shall see who comes to serve the public next, and if they actually follow through and succeed in ridding Pakistan of the existing issues, most if not all within one term.
What guarantee do you, me, or for that matter anyone else have that any other party would succeed in tackling the terrorism issue? All the other parties have been in power in one way or another; tried and tested, and have not been able to impress the public in overall sphere of things as far Governance is concerned. His party has not been in power yet. Some people within it have, but we do not yet know if and what public office positions they will be given if any.
It may be that we will see faces in policy making that we have not seen before.
It's a simple choice for voters in Pakistan. The question is how many will be forced to vote for someone, how many votes would be fraud, and how many people will continue to vote along ethnic and provincial lines.
I am going to vote for PTI.. to give Imran a chance. Despite my differences with his certain stances specially for not condemning Taliban as forcefully as every patriotic Pakistani should do.. I would like to give Pakistan a chance. In our fragmented-fractured country with ethnic, regionalism, religious divisions.. IK is the only leader who has the ability to make this country one nation..
Go captain.. make this country a nation.. you have truly generated hope in the hearts of young people of this country. I hope all the analyst and political pundits are proven wrong and people of Pakistan vote in favor of Pakistan.. not bradari, ethnicity, region, religion..

I had tears in my eyes when Benazir was murdered even though i never supported PPP. It was because of her courage that she showed but what followed after her death was disastrous for country. You can continue to support PPP as i can imagine how difficult it could be to vote for others but we have to put Pakistan first.
^^^ It should never be about parties or individuals, but about the country. As JFK family said "ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country".

Only party that matters in tackling terrorism is the army. So far, forever reason, they are unwilling to take decisive steps against terrorists, and many of the killers are operating from heartland right under their nose. Maybe they think that once the US pulls out of Afghanistan we can go back to pre 9/11 times. If that is the strategy...its a terrible one & there is no hope for Pakistan unless civilians can take control of the armed forces.

It can only happen when we elect some civilians with certain moral standards..
Main darta warta kisi say nahee hoon. Oh sir ji, Allah say he dar liya karo!
Jokes aside, almost everyone stands against Taliban, considering Talibans stand against almost everything. Those who think Imran will join hands with terrorists need to see whether they skipped their medicine recently, no offense. He can bring diddlysquat of a change if he lets these terrorists run roost. Besides, it will be up to the intelligence, military and police to root these guys out on the ground.
Anyway, at the end of the day if these is the only thing his opponents can bring against Imran Khan, then he is not doing too bad for himself.

Supporting Taliban is one thing and bringing them to table to end the bloodbath is another.

I don't understand why people don't get this simple and very logical conclusion.......
