What on earth does this really mean?

Can a relationship ever be truly equal where both sides are giving AND taking? Is it possible to balance the scales perfectly ALL the time?

I think when we put this notion of “give and take” in our minds, we set ourselves up for failure because there WILL be times you wont be taking as much as you’re giving.

Just do your best and stop expecting things in return because the expectation is what kills it.

this is just one of few buzz words we use in our relationships to convince ourselves k “sab acha hay”
