Times they have changed CM, a lot of girls no longer want to live with in-laws and be ordered around by mother-in-laws and sit at home, cook and get fat.

CM, not everything about our culture is good. When I think about what women went through a couple of generations ago, when they got married, its horrifying. I wouldnt be able to put up with half of what my mother went through when she was my age.

I am very much a FOB. I have desi morals and a desi attitude with regard to some things. I see nothing wrong with that.

You are FOB if you migrate. A generation later you call other people immigrating FOBs. Then they do that as well a decade or 3 later. Its how people label others to make themselves feel superior.

all societies and cultural groups have certain values, but as times change, so do these values. im not saying our culture is bad, but it definitely was demeaning to women in many aspects!!

Yeah but i am still chauvinistic. That much is obvious. In todays age that is like being a racist. I am more "modern" in certain things like bars and clubs. But morally i am still desi.

Marrying a fob has nothing to do with living with inlaws, and has nothing to do with desi standards. "Fob" is just the way u speak, carry urself, and dress. Like green silk shirts with silver chains hanging down the side, pretending to smoke a blunt. Fobs are not on the same wavelength as normal people. One fob said to me, "how is up", i said shutup and go away before i kick ur fobby ass (no i didn't say that, but i should've). They just annoy me, go back pakistan. CM, go back to pakistan, if you haven't been treated fairly, then u must have been treated unfairly. No one, not even this country sees a woman equivalent to a man, income is just one example.
