Hey! everyone i haven't read the post before mine, but i think that majority of the answer's would be a NO. Well i wanted to discuss this from a long time, what about the good old days when the number 2 and the number 1 wife used to live in the same house and their kids would call each other bro & sis and would live happily ?? why can't women do that now.
But i am saying this on a completely religious perspective when the man marries the number 2 due to reason's.

Despite all her talks about 'I'd never fall in love with a married man coz my parents were divorced over a third woman', she herself fell for a married man.* Ding ding *love is blind. So for a Muslim Angie, being a respectable wife to the man she passionately loved would've been a much healthier option than secretly sleeping around. Same goes for Brad.
Obviously I don't know much about Angelina's personal life but that was just an example of a situation where I think some women wouldn't mind being the second wife.
That was exactly my point.
Maybe. I'd rather be wife #2 than mistress.

I have heard of women who ask men to marry them knowing they are already married. Often the women are older, and single and often financially stable some have kids others want kids and just need a man in their lives for fullfilling their conjugal needs, but do not want more than that ... the thought of marrying a single man makes them worry about having to baby him ... or to marry an old single fart is just as frustrating for them because "he is single for a reason" - the fact is the good stuff is married ... just for the record I would have to be forced (by my wife) to even think of taking on a second wife ... but this is the word on the street.

You sure they were happily married. It is very tough for a woman to accept another woman as her husband's wife. Now if she does it but still tries to be happy despite of whats going on in her heart, thats a different thing.
You are talking about days when women would even accept abusive husbands and remain 'happy'.
