No, not really.. Every relationship is different. I and my husband have been together for almost 8 years. We pretty much grew up knowing each other. He and I never dated other people. Honestly, we don’t know what it’s like to go out on a date with another person. Why would I then let my man have lunch with another woman and possibly introduce him to the world of dating. 
Yes, we both are a little insecure when it comes to this. Deep down I know he will never fall for another woman and he knows I won’t fall for another guy. Why would I risk what I have for a stupid lunch? I just know it’s not okay with him and I respect him enough to refuse to go on lunch with another dude at work. I work with ALL men. They ask me every damn day to have lunch with them. I don’t! Do I want to? Sometimes and I have no hidden motives to do so but I still don’t
