casual shalwar kameez almost 20 suits
semi formal shalwar kameez 5-8 suits
casual shoes 7 pairs
formal shoes 3 pairs
i made 5 heavy dresses but i left them in pakistan....no need

I would suggest bringing nice casual shalwar qameez to wear at home... I find it very comforting. No real need for super-heavy formals unless you have family events like shaadis etc happening in your new place of residence. A few semi-formal suits are a good idea though, I had around 5 or 6. I also brought 5 pairs of heels with me that are my formal shoes. In my opinion there is no real point in bringing sweaters/jackets/winter shoes with you because you're bound to get tempted by the stuff you'll find abroad and there is not use in adding unnecessary stuff to your luggage. Use that space to bring pretty, traditional shawls that you won't be able to find abroad, or things for your house maybe...
