My self defence instructer told me that women could cause more damage when violent. Although I think his observation was based on me in front of a punching bag! :D He also said women were quicker on their feet and just got on with it, it being beating the crap out of somebody. He said men like to think tactics and what would be a good punch and that women divn't bother with details, they just do it.
If I need to be, I can be quite violent. It's all good.

NBN I agree that women are more likely to get away with it...just like the taboo of sexual harrassment by women against men, and I do think that someone who hits another person must be prepared to be hit back
In my opinion women who do things like this, do them because they aren't expecting retaliation. Just like men who hit women probably don't expect retaliation.
Women play on the mental advantage they have over the men - because they know that most men can't bring themselves to hit them back...
and men play on the physical advantage they have over women because they know that most women can't hit them back

If women started acknowledging their emotional violence towards men or men started calling women on thier emotional violence, women won’t be able to play the victim/opressed gender card now, would they?

It's funny how you prescribe violence for such 'extreme situations' but if a man were to suggest the same for an 'extreme situation' (wife whose neglect could harm family/children physically, financially, emotioanlly -- men couldn't possibly have emotions, right?!) , you women would wail in unison like banshees.
