There is a nuance here. The hijab (hopefully) comes off when having sex.

A better question to ask would be whether they would’ve dated them.

The latter might be unacceptable even without beards

if a guy has a beard because he's following the sunnah and a potential grl/rishta rejects him then he's better off anyway...those are not the sort of people you wana spend the rest of your life with anyway.

if the guy's not religious....then i prefer seeing my husband both ways...sometimes clean shaven..once in awhile stubble and a couple of months of him sporting a beard...my brother also goes through phases...sometimes he looks like wolverine and at other times he looks like this clean shaven smooth skinned boy. both work. but yes if its for religious purposes then grls shouldnt have a problem with it.
