Actually it might sound odd,but when it comes to matrimonial matter ,surprising number of Pakistani families don’t prefer boys having beard.
I am talking about beard according to sunnah of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) not a trendy one .
No matter how well educated,well settled , polite or liberal he is it does not matters.
My mom talked to many families and as soon as they heard that the guy has a small beard they were like
sorry our daughter doesn’t want it, or won’t agree or dislikes it …
People have an image in their mind about a bearded guy and they won’t even want to meet or understand.
So seriously girls what is it that you dislike about men having beard?
Or would you marry a guy with beard if he has all other qualities you desire? If not why ?
I think the mentality is the beard guy=crazy religious controlling dude. and this is obviously not true. Its just a steep generalisation by our parents. Me personally i would never say no solely because the guy has a beard. That's just absurd to me. For me it indicated that the guy is religious and wants to live his live in accordance to the sunnah of prophet Muhammed (pbuh) what is so wrong in that? Obviously along with the beard he should also be a really sweet, kind, decent, respectable, hard working, educated man etc.
I don't mind a small beard at all, but it HAS to be kept short and tidy at ALL times. By short I mean just covering the skin. The minute it gets long and scraggly where its not tidy anymore I hate that.
yahan sab ki apni apni thinking hai je ..... kissi ko clean shave pasand nahi kissi ko beard pasand nahi .... ab sab ka apna apna point of view hai or koi bhi same nahi ho sakta ... apko wohi mille ga jo apke liyeh behtar hai .... ALLAH hamesha behtar karta hai .... so work hard and keep your lane clear .... :) simple dear
Don't find it attractive and it would impact our intimacy.. that is just my personal preference and nothing more to it..
Why not ask hijabi girls and those who are much more practising? I've come across a few girls who cover who say they'd only want to marry a guy with a beard..
you might be having hard time finding the girl who approves of your beard however, its not true that all girls have issues with beard. i have seen many bearded men even in the upper strata of the society( where most people do view bearded men as extremists) who got married easily and some of them are married to girls who neither wears hijab nor are too religious.
They found out in a "study" that though women like the unshaven look (there is makeup for that :D ), but when it comes to actually feeling a guy it is a big 'no-no' for many women to have a beard scratching their face.
All in all, women want the cake and eat it too. For the paindoo noor clinic alumni, just remember aurat bohat ajeeb cheez hai.
