How do you want him to treat you?
What’s his role in the household, outside the household - what is he responsible for?
How involved do you want him in child-rearing?
How do you want him to deal with your family?
What exactly is it that will make you happy enough to say “I have a perfect husband*”?*

With respect and tenderness.
He is responsible for being the main provider of our sustenance [outside our home], inside he gets to take the trash out. Everything else is above and beyond the call for duty.
He is a 100% parent so he is 100% responsible for providing our kids with love, security and nurturing.
No pressure approach.
I do have a perfect husband, as perfect as a human being can be I guess. I have no complaints. Seriously, alhamdullilah. I would never want to exchange him with anyone or want him changed in anyway.

As an equal partner
Shared responsibilities, work but also help out at home
1: The way I treat him.
2: He is a life partner so that includes sharing every responsibility inside/outside the household.
3: Let the children come first.
4: The way my family deals him. If they respect him, he should. If they don't, so shouldn't he.
5: There is nothing as perfection. I guess if we both are happy with each other, thats everything.
