Re: Girls riding motorcycle in pakistan...why not?
The one I am talking about Sara, is women friendly. It doesnt compromise anyone's modesty. Women can sit how they are supposed to sit. Furthermore, if someone is wearing a long chadar/dupatta, she can still drive it safely, as the wheels are small and covered, it wont get tangled up in the wheels.
However, the streets of Pakistan are not a safe jungle for women to roam around on bike. Even if she is driving a car, she must never leave the house alone (for long distance drive) unless absolutely necessary.
That’s weird considering they used to ride camels in the days of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and during the early days of Islam Khawlah Bint Al-Azwar led an army into battle on horseback..
Honestly, I sometimes feel like we’re going backwards..

If they introduce light weight, vespa type motor bikes, that can be a good initiative. It is I think pretty common in China. Very safe ride, and also light weight.
Yeah, I used to see them everywhere in Vietnam as well.. I think it's a really good idea..
