.Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), a very rare but serious disease; studies indicate that higher absorbency tampons increase the risk of contracting TSS.

Rubbish. As long as you follow the instructions on the box, modern tampons are completely safe and you will not come to harm.

For additional peace of mind, I strongly recommend that you stick to using a leading, trusted brand backed by millions of dollars spent to ensure safety, such as Tampax

Well here most of you said that it doesn’t break your virginity that is good. Omg I was so scared…. Lolz :D… I was scared cause you know for afghan ppl being virgin is really important. There was an afghan girl that was not virgin not because she had sexd because It was an accident and her husband told her to get out of the house in the morning cause she wasn’t virgin. that is what I hate about these afghan  guyz.

Shikra I know you wanna be a girl. I know it... I just know it. But you don't have to be so na shukar... :)

Like many people said, Virginity is determined by wheter you've had vaginal sex or not. People who try to show their ignorance by saying since you have no hymen, you are not a virgin, are idiots. Tempons should be fine and they won't break the hymen. However, sports, horseback riding, hard labor, excercise can tear the hymen.

Don't ask for the details, but I'm sure that I've spent more time inside a tampon factory than anyone else in this thread....

shikra u’re too funny :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thank you

Arsr Guys are posting to help you, not to laugh at you.

Listen, to those of you who were offended about this whole virgin/not virgin thing...

The original question posed showed that the poster didnt really know exactly what is a hymen, what is its importance and what happens if it "breaks" due to a reason other than sex.

I dont care about the men who find it so very important to see evidence of virginity on their wedding nite, they can kiss all out butts! But its a very important thing for every woman to realize that her "first time" is a very precious gift to be given to a man, not a gift given lightly. In order to fully understand, you have to get into the whole biology thing and talk about what this little precious slip of skin actually IS. Its important to men but it should be important to women too. And the men, if they are worth anything, should not be obsessed with it although it IS important to know whats been going on....and thats a whole different question than the one posed and one for a different thread.

No more bashing people for a question innocently and honestly asked! OK? Lets just focus on educating those seeking knowledge that we can provide to them! :)

Thank you shikra jee but I don’t really feel comfortable talking to guy about these stuff… Anywayz it is okay…

Before you posted this question, you KNEW that guys will read it too, if not reply, didn’t you? :hoonh: Agar itni hi sharam aati thee tou post hi kyon kiya, you could’ve pmed a few girls :bash:

Howcome? did you invent the tampons? If you did I hope ALLAH forgives you lolz :D

I said “don’t ask”

Well, I work for the world’s biggest tampon maker (they make other stuff too though).

They took me to spend a day touring the tampon factory once. I got to see everything from the raw material coming into the factory, the production line and the shipping bays where the output went to.

The most surreal part of all was the quality assurance facility…
