you know i have so much respect for the girls and women in pakistan. it sad that they dont have the same rights as girls in the west.
its sad what they go through and what they have to do just to be safe.
i m very sad and heart broken about there situation.

Sum women r treated badly in paki cuz of the lack of education .. Islamic edu and basic school kinda edu..If muslims follow Quran..womens will get all the rights they should get!

i dont think its sad that they dont have the rights of girls in the west. i dont consider the "right of drunken orgies" to be a "right" i'd like to see in pakistan. i think it is sad that they dont have the rights that Islam promises them.

symbol, thas a big xtreme.. womens rights all over hte places r fked in different ways.. like in US, women are used to sell every damn thing, i.e., beer commercials…Sex isn’t sacred in western society anymore, nto when porn has become “mainstream”.. grls young as 12 r xpected to put out or at least give oral sex.. a few yrs ago i read thsi thing abt “designer sex” where higher-income grls would sleep with older men for shopping money.. they dint call it prostitution but rather “designer sex” becoz it dealt wiht the higher income bracket 
In Pak, women arent even allowd to talk abt their future, like grls who talk abt marriage are baysharam and stuff.. If a woman asks for any of her rights allowed to her by Islam, like her right to initiate divorce, she’s seen as crazy or whatever.. you want an xample, go to the “nikkah contract” thread in life1.. So its screwed up all over hte place..

I do not believe it is right to blame the girls for this. It is not entirely their fault. It is the environment that is created in our society that tends to exploit the weakness. So if you are educated and have been brought up in the right manner, then there is nothing wrong it telling a man that what he is saying or asking for is wrong. Sometimes it is best to go with your gut feel and speak up rather than trying to please others what they would like to hear or see.

I feel a lot depends on the girl herself. Yeh, you may say that what can a girl do? How can she fight for her rights all by herself? But it's true when they say, you do begin from somewhere. A single effort too adds up in the long run, can stand out as an example. Change does occur, even if it takes a hell of a long time.
