You know if half of these men actually wanted to marry a needy woman who has great responsibilities upon her due to her husbands death/ or if she’s a divorcee I think A LOT of women would respect that.
But it’s the fat, bald, mamma’s boys, old as hell men who decide to get married to 20 some olds, are who piss me off.
Ya I got a huge issue with these mamma’s boys getting married over and over and over and over again

religion should be like pick and mix. just follow the rules that suit you.
funny how some people follow every single detail ("because its written") but when there is something that does not agree with them, like a man can have 4 wives, they forget religion altogether and decide themselves what is right and what is wrong.

Agreed! if one has a beautiful wife and there’s no problems why even think of marrying again.. but then again don’t you think there’s always a reason?

I have thought about this and I dont know what I would do (in case of husband taking another wife). I would definitely be severely hurt but then I also feel like there have been many times in my life when I got over big things over time...so I dont know. Maybe I will accept it, depends on if his reasons are valid? (not sure if there are valid reasons in this time for 2nd marriage) and also depends on how much I love him.

I have yet to see a proper reason for a second marriage, and I've seen 5 of such types of marriages happen. The most common reasoning out of those marriages was to have a son. So what happened to being appreciative of what ALLAH has already provided you?

I think it would be great, I get married to get my family off my back and he gets married again so I get him off my back. Win win sitch if you ask me.

If she has no desire towards him than she can get a divorce, what's the problem?
But there are a lot of women who would not take a divorce just because her husband got married again. Instead many of them would respect their husband for helping a needy woman and giving her a home and a good place in society. That's what I meant by respect.

I agree that most women do not take a divorce but that is mostly because they feel
that would bring shame on to them and their families and therefore think what else to do than bare it.
In our society these women are looked down at and at times blamed for their husband's khartoot.
Not all women these men 'help' out are needy or shareef type. The love the 1st wife has for her husband
will prob not ever go away but at the same time it is very difficult to forgive or understand her husband's betrayal
as this is what most women would see it as.
