I wouldn't consider marrying any guy who put down a condition like that. Forget 'woman's right to motherhood' an all, i just cant imagine a family being complete without kids. Desi or gora or green.

The pious prescription to "procreate and multiply like rabbits because Allah will provide" is undoubtedly consoling to the 2 billion+ people living under the poverty line.

A fair number of girls say that they don't want kids, and then the biological clock kicks in. A small percentage truly don't want kids and remain childless but that's a minority. And just to preemptively state this, men have a clock too.
It's kind of an evolutionary fail to not want kids since that's the primary drive (next to survival) that all species have.

How open are you to a marriage with double income and no kids (the so-called DINKs)? Or is such a relationship too far in goraville for you to consider?

If I was married to someone like Uri Avnery, yes.
i.e. I'd do it for a life dedicated to something bigger than myself. Don't know how I'd keep from adopting though, too many orphaned/abandoned kids out there.If I'm going to vegetate in suburbia and live the white picket fence life, no. I'd need biological kids to direct my existential angst at.
