People raise good points… I don’t think it is the only thing on a girls mind… but it is natural for some sort of a “marriage” topic to be of a concern on a girl’s mind. These are Pakistani girls (mostly) and this is a Pakistani forum isn’t it???
In our culture marriage has always been stressed at some point or another - so the thought of “when am I going to get married” does cross a girl (and guys too) mind at some point. And it’s a big deal. Arranged marriages is traditional. There are all sorts of stresses, fears, hopes, etc. that comes along with having an arranged marriage. Going against the grain and having a love marriage in our culture brings up other issues. Then there is all the in-law stuff. etc. Then there are those of us that are curious. I think that its great that people have a place where they can come and voice their opinions and share their concerns.
And considering “significant other stuff” is usually a very important issue in one’s life… makes sense why its the most popular topic. I dont think girl’s are going “mad” about the marriage topic… i think it is something that should be expected. 
Forgetting even the Paki culture thing and this forum… it is still predictable that this would be a very common topic today. Do u watch tv??? I cant believe the number of wedding related shows are on the network now. Wedding planning, cake decorating, dress selection, shows about brides hopes/fears, etc. Even reality tv shows that follow newly married couples. Its all around us!! Cant escape it…
