Im surprised you guys would be so cool about it... I suppose if I was in that situation, reason would have to take the place of anger somehow...
But you guys know how men of Pakistan, particularly those of villages are, I doubt they would scared of by threats of imprisonment or any kind of punishment because these "honor" cases involve not only them but their whole families...
I think this problem is here to stay for a long time, and the only way to fix it is to change society in some meaningful way through education perhaps...
I doubt most of the upper class of the country would indulge in such things.

Oh yeah, sympathy for such crime I think goes high into the govt even beyond the police. If that werent the case, there would be far stricter punishment for such criminals.
