white flowers will look super nice! doesn't your decorate have a book or something you can look though? For my sister's wedding Amir rajput showed us a book with like 40 diffrent stages!

I personally think if it's grey and pink, then dark and light pink flowers would look beautiful. How you do the stage decor depends so much on what sort of theme/look you are aiming for. The colour combination sounds a bit more contemporary - have you tried a simple google image search for inspiration?

Another backdrop I remember from a cousin’s wedding is that they had a massive floor to ceiling light pink curtain, and starting from one side, at the same height a normal stage would be, they s had a slightly diagonal line of flowers - so a thick bunching of flowers in different shades of pink. I think they also had some of those little sparkly butterflies randomly attached to the curtain as well.
It was really effective and really beautiful. So sorry I don’t have any pics to show you!

Argh wish I could post pics from my phone. But the backdrop we are having would be perfect for you too. Hmmm. I don't know if you remember but it was used in another wedding where Rima Darwash was the photog and SS designed the dress. Baby pink and cream flowers were used on a cream background although we are changing the colours.

^ yeah this is the one! Knew someone would know :) Change the lighting and flowers according to your theme. Up lighting can be used to create the mood.

I don't think using forum is such a bad idea, if she was not browsing here then she would be searching online for things. Now a days there is a forum for everything I.T. forums are there to help programmers so if she is getting help from different people I don't think its bad. She is just exploring her options.

I have found this forum such a huuuge help and will probably still be visiting it closer to my wedding time. I mean you can speak to a whole bunch of like minded people who know exactly what your going through. And who also aren't going to get bored of you talking about your wedding! In the real world as much as your friends/sisters/family love you etc they can only take so much of you talking about colour coordinating everything etc. Here you can search and share to your hearts content....bliss <3
