In Desi families it seems like all daughter-in-laws are like servants to their mother-in-law/father-in-law. So they have to live with their spouse and take care of their mother-in-law and father-in-law 24x7, cook, and clean around the house and deal with the daily dramas in the family.

This is so wrong. So damn wrong. At least for the educated middle-class families.
