It is a general perception that girls are not good drivers. It is also mentioned in other thread.
I disagree and I have reasons.
I am driving for past 10 years and I will be honest here.
I have to be extra vigilant when i see a woman sitting in a driving seat.
I have to switch on my all 12 light bulbs at the very instant once a see a girl holding steering wheel. Otherwise normally only 6 of them are off.
The reason is that ladies driving car with extra care and extra ordinary attention to surroundings / traffic / rules.
On copy book they are safe drivers. There are less chances of rash driving and breaking rules by girls. So they are better than us :k:
On technical grounds they know about car engine functions/ features as we guys know about kaam designs (zari , dabka , motives etc) on their dresses for functions/weddings.
Girls are better drivers in the sense that they're safe. But they still manage to piss you off by hogging the fast lane. And when they can't weave their car out of a tight spot..etc. etc.

The safe part i strongly agree. The hogging part, not so much because i've seen guys do that too especially when there is a female driver behind them.
Well it does not matter anymore, thanks to the EU female drivers will have to pay just as much as male drivers now. May aswell start driving like a nut job.
Girls/women talk on the phone, apply make-up, chat with friends, turn around and talk to kids in the rear seat, drive at 40 mph in a 45mph speed zone, jump red lights more and are generally less attentive drivers.

Wow I'm supprised your not employed by the insurance companies, you could have saved them millions in discounts for female drivers.
